About Jeremy Pickett
Pickett Furniture opened its door to the trade and public at ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) in 2009. We began producing that initial studio line in a small bench share space on Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
A year later and three more trade shows under our belt across the country (Neocon, Architectural Digest Home Show, and Dwell on Design), we moved into our current location. We are now situated in a Civil War era brick warehouse on Pier 41 in Red Hook.
2011 marked the beginning of our expansion in lighting and we participated in Brooklyn Designs at ICFF during Design Week. All along the way, our base of custom clients grew and we hired our first full-time employee.
In 2012 we introduced the Morkt Samfunn Console (our first foray into custom audio electronics) in New York (Model Citizens) and in Los Angeles (Dwell on Design). 2012 also saw our research and development of a bamboo bicycle frame. The type of experimentation continues into 2013 as our product base continues to grow into other home décor and accessories markets.
