What are your payment terms?

Custom orders require an initial payment of 50% at the time the contract is signed. The balance including any applicable taxes and shipping charges is due prior to delivery. To purchase any piece from our showroom collection requires payment in full at time of purchase.

How does the pricing work for a custom piece?

For custom pieces or custom jobs, our team will work with you during the design phase to understand the full scope of the project. During this phase, we will discuss the options for materials and finishes. Based on the scope of work and materials involved, an estimate for the price will be established.

How are returns handled?

Showroom collection pieces can be returned within 15 days for a full refund and must be returned in the same undamaged condition. Custom work orders cannot be refunded and can only be cancelled within the five working days of the signed contract.

What if I want to change a change to a custom piece or custom project?

Our goal is to make you happy with your purchase. We would be happy to work through change orders. Depending on the change order, a price adjustment or change order fee may be incurred.

What guarantee of craftsmanship will I receive?

We guarantee the materials, craftsmanship and finishes of our products as long as they are handled in an acceptable manner for six months prior to the date of sale.Within the first six months of purchase, we offer a full replacement guarantee on all of our showroom products (shipping and handling not included)


Any purchases within 30 miles of New York City will have delivery included in the price. For deliveries outside of 30 miles of New York City, pricing will be an additional expense determined by a white glove shipping company. Shipping rates will be based on delivery time, weight and size will apply.

Do you make special consideration for trade members?

Wholesale relationships and discounts between trade professionals, such as designers and architects are available. Please contact us for more information.

Is tax required if my company plans to resell a Pickett Furniture product?

A state-issued certificate is required to be provide as proof that no tax is due on any sale that is made tax free as a sale for resale.

What are your custom furniture design capabilities?

We have in-house capability and experience to provide custom furniture design services. In a case where architectural design services are needed, we typically work in conjunction with engineers and architects for those plans.

Do you give tours of Pickett Furniture?
